For the upcoming Fall and Spring seasons, Jeff Staple will be designing an exclusive line of sneakers for Payless that will be marketed under the “STPL™ 4 Airwalk®” brand.
This is the same Jeff Staple behind Reed Space who marketed a shoe with Nike called the Pigeon Dunk that retailed for $250 and can fetch a market value of about $2000 or more. Still, it’s not like his $50 Airwalk shoe will be cheap for Payless buyers either, but I guess it’ll be nice to see a Jeff Staple item in the double digits.
