By now, most of you should know that Monster Cables aren’t worth the money. There have been lots of non-scientific tests to prove just how normal they are despite the company’s claims of offering “high-definition” audio via their wires.

i think he just has a defective monster cable. though i prefer planet wave cables with built in circuit breaker. you can turn it on and off without the popping sound when you plug or unplug. they’re $50 but they have a lifetime guarantee. i’ve exchanged cables a couple of times without hassle.
