Holy moly! Look at the crispness of this video I uploaded to YouTube to test their HD capabilities.
It’s an Apple Keynote presentation sample I made and then screencasted. I left the video at full resolution and then uploaded it to YouTube and this is the result. I’m not sure if HD will play as an embedded file, so hit the actual video page and make sure you click “watch in HD” beneath the video to see YouTube’s newest video feature in action. THIS IS WONDERFUL!!!
UPDATE: Ok, I just confirmed that HD quality does not work when the video is embedded on a webpage. You must go to the video page to watch the video in HD.
Hey Herman, I also found out that you have to hit the “Watch in HD” link that is located to the bottom right of the video. our link is defaulting me in the “normal” view option.
HD is freaking awesome.
