I guess it’s no surprise that I find the new Pepsi cans (with the new Pepsi logo) absolutely ridiculous in person. I caught a glimpse of them last night and man did I find them ugly! It really makes that hideous Sprite logo look like pure genius.

I agree completely.
As a professional designer I find the new logo appalling.
It really looks like a generic-brand soda now.
