L.A. Gear's return is full of glittery fail

I can understand that there’s big money behind bringing back 90′s style and brands in hopes of spurring on feelings of nostalgia in consumers, but L.A. Gear seems like a bit of a stretch to me. I mean, look at these sneakers — awful colors, glittery patented leather, and that incredibly ugly “L.A. Gear” logo. Everything about these shoes just looks so thoughtlessly thrown together.

They’ll probably sell, but will they sell enough to make L.A. Gear survive the second time around? I doubt it. But I’m willing to be proven wrong.
