Officially launched in the US on Monday, January 5, the Angry Whopper is Burger King’s attempt at injecting some extra flavor into their best-selling menu item, the Whopper.

The Angry Whopper is a flame-broiled burger patty topped with sizzling Angry onions, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce and mayonnaise topped with Angry sauce on a sesame seed bun. That all sounds pretty good actually and I really want to go and try one!

If you want to sink your teeth into this one, you better do it soon because the Angry Whopper is only available for a limited time only until March 30, 2009. The price of the single-patty burger is $3.69, while a double Angry Whopper will go for $4.49, and a triple Angry Whopper will set you back $5.19. [via]
