- Go to Apple’s website and download the free 30-day trial
- Get the serial number somewhere.
- Install iWork ‘09
- Open any of the applications that come with iWork ‘09
- Click “Buy” and enter serial number
I’m reading some forums as well and people are saying that the old iWork serial numbers still work for this new version of iWork ‘09. So…go figure. I have no idea why this is so easy. I expected it to be a lot harder for some reason.
UPDATE: If you ask for the serial in the comments, you will be banned.
In my opinion, Apple makes it this easy because even though they lose money from purchases, they gain so much more when people start using their proprietary stuff. OS X has similarly lax security.

serial numbers no longer used the code from the box is now needed, anyone have this?
