- Go to Apple’s website and download the free 30-day trial
- Get the serial number somewhere.
- Install iWork ’09
- Open any of the applications that come with iWork ’09
- Click “Buy” and enter serial number
I’m reading some forums as well and people are saying that the old iWork serial numbers still work for this new version of iWork ’09. So…go figure. I have no idea why this is so easy. I expected it to be a lot harder for some reason.
UPDATE: If you ask for the serial in the comments, you will be banned.
In my opinion, Apple makes it this easy because even though they lose money from purchases, they gain so much more when people start using their proprietary stuff. OS X has similarly lax security.

once that serial number is entered and it says thanks you your info will be sent to apple. Is the full version on activated or does apple have to verify it first?

Jeez, guys, come on! There is a freaking link to a website that gives you hundreds of serials! Why are you all like that?
(oh and by the way, when the serial page is loading, try and stop it before it shows the survey thing! worked for me!)
if info is sent to apple once you use the serial number, is it possible to get in trouble?
like the guy above said, you can try and stop the page before the survey box. or why not do like i did and take a snapshot of the desktop? at least this way you are using features of OS X.
i am bored lol thought i would add something in here, if you were to turn off javascript it would solve the problem of trying to stop the page loading the survey is a javascript script so when this is turned off you will find it will never appear. means that you do not have to try and see past the greyed out page :-)

So I did exactly what you told me. Only thing is I’m not sure if it worked! So how do I know if it did work? Cos I’m not sure if I was able to get the full version after I put in the serial, or if it just proceeded to the trial version. Hope someone can help me with this one. Thanks! :)
None of the serials work anymore, just to let ya know.
You know when the linked site shows you a popover, saying you have to do surveys or whatever before you can see the serial number? Just select all on the page with the serial number (using key command), then copy (also using key command). Paste it into a blank document and whoomp, there’s your serial number.

Like the guy said ealier, no one answered him. If you download free software illegally, can you get caught by apple? it seems to be alot easier on a pc. Like i need iwork badly but i dont want to get a big fine for it if they find out.. what you think?

I’ve just installed iwork and it rocks!! Thanks vey much Kingcom for the serial! It was really easy than I thought. No cracking, no programing, no installing any third party apps, just install iwork trial form apple.com and once you install it then open any iwork application, click “Buy” and enter the serial. Thats it!
