Stealing is easy at Whole Foods

Here’s an interesting thing to note (and you can do what you want with the information): Racked says that Whole Foods employees are not allowed to touch any customer, even if the customer is caught stealing. As you can imagine, this means that it is allegedly very easy to steal anything from Whole Foods without even bothering to be a ninja.

I’m not saying that you should steal from Whole Foods, but it’s interesting to know just in case you thought it was a good idea to thwart off a thief by telling Whole Foods staff. Probably better to tackle and stop the thief yourself.

I got caught stealing a 5 buck drink and was grabbed and shoved into a little office by a whole foods “loss prevention” guard. They took my photo and name and drink and told me if I set foot in any whole foods I will be arrested. I had to sign some form.
