In an effort to please customer demands for a better space-saving cereal box, Kellogg’s is testing a shorter and fatter cereal box that it claims will transform the cereal aisle at your local grocery store. The new cereal box is the biggest change to come to Kellogg’s food packaging since the 1950’s. The redesign lends itself to Kellogg’s commitment to be a “greener” company as the new boxes use 8% less material.
For the next 6 months, Kellogg’s will be testing customer response to these new boxes and will adjust their distribution accordingly based on customer approval and feedback. If all goes well, expect to see these fancy new packages in your cereal aisle in the future.

Here’s how the new cereal boxes will look at your local supermarket.

I don’t get Kellogg’s cereal often but the new shape/size would be good for dorm kitchen shelving.
Why can’t they be the first major company to sell cereal in a bag with a market photo printed on it. Some store brands do this. It would save so many land fills from their box becoming garbage. The marketing alone in going greener or saving the planet would get them noticed. Maybe even sell plastic like tupperware containers with brand photos on them. A one time buy for easy cabniet saver to dump or refill cereal into once purchased from store in bags.
