eBay has launched a revamped item listing page and I think it does a much better job of bringing important item information up front to the user. And finally, eBay realized that it was ridiculous to put additional pictures of an item below the description. So now all of the images are at the top similar to an Amazon.com listing.

It’s yet to be determined if the relocated “Related Items” panel will make eBay more money, but it’ll definitely get those items more exposure. Previously, the “Related Items” bar was way, way down at the bottom of the page — the least viewed portion of the site.

The new item page for eBay isn’t perfect in any sense, but compared to its previous arrangement this is far superior.
