Remember way back when I posted about the Beard Caps from a store called Scandinavian Grace? A lot of you wrote in to me asking about it and wondering why it was so expensive (it cost $135). Well, it’s been a long time coming, but there’s finally an affordable “beard cap” for the rest of us.
Beard Head has found a way to produce beard caps at an amazingly low price. For only $25 each, you can choose from 4 different color options — viking yellow, lumberjack brown, grandpa grey, and pirate black. I personally think they’re a lot better looking than the Beard Cap I posted about previously. As an extra bonus, these beard caps even come with interchangeable mustache parts (sold separately).
Additionally, the kind folks over at Beard Head have graciously provided a 20% off discount coupon just for Doobybrain.com readers! All you have to do is enter the coupon code DOOBY_109 at checkout and you’ll instantly get your beard hats cheaper than everybody else! So what are you waiting for? These beard caps won’t last very long at this price so snag ‘em while you can!
UPDATE: Coupon code no longer valid.

“BeardHead” is cheap imitation done by a bunch of wanking thiefs that desperately lack moral standards and imagination.
orignal cap made in Iceland by Vik Prjonsdottir and sold to critical acclaim worldwide (much later stolen by BeardHead and to add insult to injury they use far inferior and synthetic material – so no high quality wool but yes to made in Taiwan)
Wasn’t Vik’s version a gazillion dollars?
nope quite affordable, and principles aside Vik’s product will last you a lifetime while these might get you through the winter
have to agree with gunner, it’s pretty lousy to blatantly steal other people’s ideas, and then justify it on the grounds that it’s cheap ‘affordable’ crap.
no wonder it’s cheap, you didn’t do any of the design work yourselves, you stole the labor off other’s.
Quality production, materials and original design have a price. I’m on your side Vik Prjonsdottir – I’ve got two of your sealpelts and they are worth every cent.
Knowing the products from Vik Prjonsdottir are carefully made in a small, long established knitwear company in Iceland gives you peace of mind.
135 dollars for wool hat? Damn right I’m going to buy the cheaper one. That margin for a hat is just so appalling it makes it laughable. For 135 dollars I can purchase a quality fur ushanka that’s going to be leaps and bounds better than a knitted product. If you don’t want people to take you idea and make an affordable product..then don’t put ludicrous prices on it. Serves them right. Beard-head, here I come.
