The love just keeps coming in for America’s favorite pilot!

Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger called in to the California State Library in Fresno to tell them that the book he had checked out from them was lost in the cargo hold of US Airways flight 1549 which crashed into the Hudson River on January 15. The library personell were so impressed his responsibility in reporting the lost book that they waived all fees for the book and are placing a template of the book on the shelf in honor of the amazing pilot.

Rumor even has it that the topic of the book was “professional ethics”. Wow, can this man be any more cool? I want to meet him!
