Bell Labs in the 1960's by Lawrence Harley Luckham

Lawrence Harley Luckham used to work at Bell Labs in the 60′s and he took his camera to work one day to snap a few shots of the people he worked with. The pictures are very ordinary which makes them very interesting too!  But I think my favorite thing about these isn’t the early technology being shown but the style of dress that seemed so casual and professional at the same time. Doobie, Back in my first days of working in an insurance office, I remember those reels and those things sitting behind her on the shelf. Sadly, I also remember that type of dress, hair and shoes. I think the picture looks more like the 70′s than 60′s. It was back when there was basically only one kind of computer, it was big and it was an IBM.
