Zappos introduced a new way to browse their shoe collection over at explore.zappos.com (you can still browse the traditional way, too). The system somehow finds similar looking shoes to the one you pick and subsuequently offers suggestions as to what you should look at next. And just for fun and to spice things up, they also throw in a few random items into the list too in hopes that you’ll click those and go even further away from where you started. Hey, maybe you’ll find a new style somewhere along the way…

The thing that’s great about this new browsing method is that it allows you to see a lot more shoes at once. Plus, it’s blazing fast and dare I say, a bit easier than the traditional Zappos method.
