Norman suggested that I buy a Netgear SC101 storage capsule for my two IDE hard-drives sitting on my desk. And since Just Deals had it on sale for $20, I decided to go for it and bypass the MSRP of $90.
When it comes in, I’ll essentially have a dedicated backup and storage solution similar to that of Apple’s Time Capsule at only a fraction of the cost. I’m not sure how the software works, but I hope it’s easy to set up. I’ll let you know when it comes in.
Bad news dude, this doesnt have OSX drivers
Oh bummer. That’s ok, I’ve got a PC too.
it has an ethernet port i believe. it should be fine. you don’t need to (and probably shouldn’t) use the netgear software even if they made osx “drivers”
