Chris Brown was formally charged today of two criminal felonies which could land him in jail for up to 5 years if convicted. If there are some of you out there who weren’t quite convinced that Rihanna’s battered face was the work of Chris Brown, then have a look at the search warrant and affidavit papers filed by the Los Angeles County Police Department over at The Smoking Gun.
In the 7 page document, a member of the LAPD says that Rihanna (whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty) read a 3-page text message (DAMN!) from a woman Chris Brown had previous sexual relations with and a verbal argument ensued. At one point, Chris Brown pulled the car over and tried to force Rihanna out but he couldn’t because she was wearing a seatbelt. He then drove off and shoved Rihanna’s head into the car window and punched her repeatedly with his right hand while driving with his left. After several emergency calls made by Rihanna while in the car, Chris Brown apparently took a hold of her and bit her on the ear and finger.
That’s the abridged version and the whole detailed report is much more violent so read it if you’ve got the stomach. I really don’t know how Chris Brown is going to ever bounce back from this now that this report is out.
