Apparently Pepsi is randomly unveiling a new beverage called Pepsi Natural at select retailers. The drink is said to be made from sparkling water, sugar, and kola nut extract instead of the high-fructose corn syrup that is found in traditional Pepsi. The new drink also comes packaged in a nice glass bottle with simple lettering to indicate the product name and contents. And quite frankly, the new Pepsi logo actually looks good on it in one single color (but damn, that Pepsi logo typeface is still ugly as hell).

I’m kind of wondering if this “natural” version of Pepsi is the same as the throwback versions Pepsi announced about a month ago. If it is the same product, I’d much rather go for this glass version.

not so random actually. high fructose corn syrup is un-kosher, since it’s passover season, jews can’t drink it. no real biggie to the jews, but they’re probably intro-ing it to compete with kosher coke.

They are totally different. I had Pepsi Natural the other day and really liked it. The only thing is, it tasted just like coke! I have a Pepsi throwback sitting right next to me and to be honest, it tastes like diet. I thought the same thing with the Mt. Dew throwback I drank earlier.

I am looking where I can find Natural Pepsi by PepsiCo.Inc. in a 4pack bottles in the East Bay in Northern California, (Antioch, Brentwood). Safewy stores here in Brentwood has discontinue selling this product. I love the taste. This is close to the Pepsi from the 1960’s and 1970’s. I do not like the Pepsi in cans today. If you can let me know ASAP where I can buy or get some free, I appreciate it very much.

    Natural Pepsi lover,
