I’m continually surprised by the catalog selection at Netflix. They seem to have just about every movie I’ve ever searched for, including this 1993 gem called Rigoletto.

I don’t know many people that have watched this film, but it is one of the movies I grew up on. I’m not even sure what the reason was behind us owning it (maybe a VHS subscription mailing list?), but I know that my family and I always had a good time watching this film (and later on, laughing at it too).

So it is with great excitement that I await Rigoletto on DVD. I wonder if the quality is any better than the VHS I used to watch. It should be, but you never know with these smaller films.
