Canon just announced the Rebel T1i, their latest entry-level DSLR that introduces HD video capabilities in a camera body that’s less than $1000. Its DIGIC 4 image processor provides ISO speeds from 100 to 3200 and even allows for additional high-speed ISO speeds of 6400 and 12800.
The camera body will retail for $800.
There’s a ton more neat features on this camera, but it lacks the one video feature I’d like to see in DSLR’s: the ability to shoot at high frame rates. I would easily give up HD for the ability to shoot slow-motion video. That’s going to be the feature that I’m looking forward to most in my next digital camera purchase post-graduation.
In any case, all of the important views are below, so click away. Oh, and Crave has a quick video review.

dope camera but 1080p at 20fps….?
i still may purchase this because 720p is more than sufficient but 1080p at 20fps is a let down
