3D pop-out effect with red and blue

god-isnt-dead-3d

Gapingvoid has a neat little illustration that creates the illusion of a red object popping out from a blue object. I’m sure it has something to do with the red and blue being highly contasting colors. Cool though, huh?

Thanks Minnow!

  1. Michael says:

The lens in your eye isn’t color corrected, so certain color combinations require the eye to constantly refocus back and forth, setting up artificial depth and a strange sort of visual vibration. The red/green combination is even worse than the illustration you show.
