I’ve previously posted artwork by hyper-realistic artists before (like Roberto Bernardi and David Kassan) that make paintings look like photographs, and I just came across another one.

The painting above is made by Diego Gravinese and he has an impressive Flickr photoset that not only shows his final renderings but also the process in which he goes about painting his realistic looking images. Check it out, it’s amazing how he recreates the illusion of amateur flash in his paintings.
