Forty-seven-year-old Susan Boyle surprised the judges on Britain’s Got Talent when she strutted onto stage as one of the oldest contestants ever to grace the show’s stage.

One of my favorite inspirational videos. I’ve watched it about 5-6 times now, and have sent it to my parents. the only reason I didn’t post this on Facebook was that embedding is disabled and people are usually too lazy to go to YouTube itself.

I am a 5th grade teacher and I have watched the Susan Boyle video 7 times and it brings me to tears everytime. My class and I have been discussing putting “labels” on people and this is a perfect example of choosing your own destiny and rising above what the crowd thinks. I am bringing this to my classroom for an extended discussion. Thank you Susan for sharing your God given talent. I’ll be buying your CD if you decide to buy one.

I became aware of Susan Boyle yesterday via an internet news site. I watched the video and to say I was speechless was an understatement. Her voice can only be compared to what an angel’s would sound like. Such an accomplished singer. May your path take you as far as you would like to go Ms. Boyle.
