Japanese masking tape doesn’t come in beige

Somehow, I’ve been led to believe all my life that masking tape should always be boring and bland in appearance. But this isn’t so in Japan apparently, where masking tape comes in a variety of patterns, colors, and designs.

Over at the aptly-named Happy Tape store, you can purchase Japanese masking tape in all sorts of varieties for use in the US. Nice if you want to add a bit of flavor to your projects.

Thanks Chris!

Omg, I saw these in Taiwan’s bookstores all the time! I bring back a bunch of random Asian stationary store stuff after each visit back home, but now I kind of regret not buying a whole bunch of these (as they’re like…$2 each!!! …$6 on the web site, are you kidding me….)
