TSOVET SVT-CS79

tsovet-watch

I love my classic G-Shock but I’ve always wanted a simple, black analog watch as an alternative. I don’t know how to explain it, but I get a better sense of time by looking at the face of an analog clock. Maybe it’s the use of physical space in the circle or something. Anyway, this particular model, SVT-CS79 is pretty much what I’d want in an analog watch — big numbers, great contrasting colors, and a nice band.

I’m not even going to bother looking up the price on this one though because I’m pretty sure I can’t afford its looks. SAD FACE.

If you’ve got a good suggestion for a classic analog wrist watch, leave a comment (and a link/picture) in the comments! Thanks!

I looked up this watch. It’s not nearly as expensive as I thought. 425 bucks. Still not cheap, but certainly not extravagant. I have a few Fossil watches I like. Example…

The Tsovet watches are really nice, but make sure you look up their dimensions before you fall in love. I tried one on in person at Uncle Otis in Toronto and it was huuuuge! For people who aren’t watch fanatics, they’re a pricey accessory, but they’re quite nice if you have the wrist for them :)
