This photograph by Brian Widdis was selected as PDN’s photo of the day and shows two area high school marching bands squaring off in a fun competition in front of Detroit’s abandoned Michigan Central Station.
This photo is part of a larger series of photographs by Brian entitled “Can’t Forget The Motor City” in which he and fellow photographer Romain Blanquart attempt to tell the story of Detroit beyond simply showing crumbling buildings and decaying artifacts.
