Wow, look how dingy and dark and graffiti-filled the NYC Subways were back in the 80’s before the crackdown on graffiti in the system. Amazing. I kind of wish I could go back in time and experience this for myself.

Not that I would remember 1987 – I was too young – but I do remember nostalgically the days when taking pictures or video on the subway didn’t arouse suspicion at all.
