This past week NBC announced the release of Hulu Desktop, a desktop application that allows you to watch Hulu in the same way you would on a media center console. Hulu Desktop works with media center remotes and Apple remotes to offer a “lean-back experience” that sort of turns your computer into your TV (if all you want to watch is NBC-related material).
After a few days of use, I think I’m in love with Hulu Desktop. It really is like turning on the TV on your computer because once you open the app the previous show you were watching comes on and begins playing. Plus, it’s great that I can use keyboard shortcuts to navigate around the menus and really enjoy my shows in full-screen. I wish Netflix would make an app like this.

they do. netflix is built into windows media center, and the xbox 360, both of which work with remotes.
dammit, I hate Macs. -_-
I love it too and I found out u can use the Apple Remote to navigate through the menus. GENIUS!!!! I cant wait to miss shows now, lol.
i used this last night for the first time and had a few problems with it. im sure after more uses ill get the hang of it.
