Ize is stocking these wonderful looking Z lever door handles designed by Eric Parry Architects. The door handles are reportedly already installed at the Sebastian + Barquet Gallery in London and will debut exclusively at a housing project in Kuala Lumpur in the near future.
I know it doesn’t look entirely comfortable, but I really like the fact that you can sort of lean on it and still open the door without having to fully grab something that’s been touched by lots of other people. And if you aren’t sold on that idea like I am, then I guess it’s ok that it looks nice too.
The design is nice, I like it too, but the usability isn’t great. They have few lever designs in their catalogue that are more interesting and still easy to use.
