I just started listening to Empire Of The Sun recently and I’m sort of in love with this song. The group is composed of Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson and Nick Littlemore of Pnau, another Australian musical group that I’ve come to love. Empire Of The Sun apparently came into fruition after the two members wrote a complete script for a feature film. Once they got the script complete, they decided to write music for the entire movie and even though the film was never made, the music stayed and is presented in a complete album called Walking On A Dream.
The music video is all sorts of weird and it’s not something I’d put on just for fun, but this song is great!
