Texan playing card deck from the U.S. Playing Card Company

The other deck I got in today was the Texan playing card deck (from The U.S. Playing Card Company). It was supposedly first made in 1889 and this re-issued deck contains the original red dual-star back design. The face of the cards are your standard black and red suits, but the Joker cards show a sketch of a cowboy on a horse and the type used for the letters and numbers are a tad bit thinner than your usual Bicycle playing card deck.

Despite the “Texan” label, this deck is standard issue. It’s nice, but not as nice as the Eco Edition deck I got.

The good thing about this is that it was only $1.50, so if you want a cheap deck, this is a good bet.
