PETA wishes President Obama hadn't killed a fly

fly

True story: PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) wishes that President Obama did not kill a fly during an interview on CNBC. So to promote a more humane treatment of flies, PETA sent President Obama a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, a device that traps flies so that you can release them — alive — back into the “wild”.

How do PETA members live with themselves???

If you missed the video of President Obama killing the fly, you can watch it here.

Thanks Yun!

I’m sure you’ve heard at this point that PETA is asking Phish to change their name to “Sea Kittens” for their shows this weekend so that people will be more sympathetic and not want to eat them (regular fish, not the guys in Phish).
