On Tuesday’s memorial to Michael Jackson, John Mayer was one of the musicians to perform a tribute song to the late singer. John Mayer did a rendition of “Human Nature” on his guitar which ended up being my favorite tribute song during the ceremony because it had very little singing at all (none, in fact, from John Mayer).

i liked this one too. understated and actually honored and highlighted MJ’s work well. i also liked the girl who led “Heal the World” – Judith Hill. apparently she is one of MJ’s backup singers who was scheduled to go on tour with him.

I loved it when Jermaine Jackson did the “Smile” song, almost brought me to tears. John Mayer did an amazing performance by playing the Human Nature song.
