PETA released video of animal abuse at circus

PETA released today some of the most damning evidence against the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus abusing its circus animals that I have ever seen. Maybe PETA isn’t so crazy after all… (????)

I feel some of the trainers looked like people who just took this job for no good reason and dont love animals perhaps as much as they should. But you also have to ask your self how much those little hits does the elephant really feel. We are dealing with huge massive animals with a very tough outer skin. These animals can rip out and carry trees with there trunks.

The video is shocking and sad.
I didn’t think about that, though, Sean. Good point.

Even if it doesn’t hurt them as much as it looks, it looks like they’re hitting them just for the fun of it. I agree with Sean though. They look like people who just need jobs and don’t really care for those animals. Look up what a bull hook looks like. That can’t feel good. That whole video made me tear up. Those animals could easily over power those people and I wouldn’t blame them if they did.

those elephants actually LOOK sad… seriously tearing up. PETA can be crazy at times, but i think they’re right on when it comes to animal abuse in the circus and also their anti-fur campaigns.

i couldn’t watch it past the 30 second mark

Actually an elephants skin is more sensative than people actually realize. If you look at pictures of the elephants that have been abused and beaten with the bullhook, they actually have pieces of their skin torn off and you can see where its bleeding. And it shouldn’t matter how tough their skin is, animals weren’t put on this earth to be abused.
