I’m sorry, but going to the Fame school was not nearly as dramatic as this movie makes it out to be. I have an inkling that this film is gonna bomb…in a bad way. But I’ll probably go see it because it’s loosely based on my high school.

Yep. LaGuardia HS (which is actually two HS put together).

I just did a wiki search for it even tho I asked you the same question and then figured it out myself.
The new movie looks too watered down and “kiddie” compared to the classic original.
