Australia’s famed Tim Tam chocolate cookies are coming back to the US!!
Earlier this year, Pepperidge Farm tested sales of Tim Tam cookies at Target stores and pulled the product off shelves at the end of March. Now, after months of missing Tim Tams here in the States, Pepperidge Farm is set to unveil the wonderful Australian cookie once again sometime in October.
The wait will soon be over and Tim Tam cookies will be had by all! Thanks Cecilia!
Here’s what they said in an e-mail I got:
” Thanks to an overwhelming response from the chocoholic community, Pepperidge Farm is bringing Tim Tam™ cookies back to the U.S. every year from October to March!!
Pepperidge Farm is thrilled to introduce new Classic Dark Tim Tam cookies in addition to the Chocolate Crème and Caramel flavors you’ve grown to love. You’ll find your cherished favorites in stores across the country and scrumptious Classic Dark exclusively at Target stores. ”
So every October through March they’ll be here along with the new Classic Dark Tim Tams. Sweet. :9
Yay, I love these! My sister and I always smuggle out a bunch when we fly Cathay Pacific :) best airplane snacks ever
Are these the same as they sell in Australia?
Last year someone compared the Arnott’s version to the one being sold in the US under the Pepperidge Farm label and determined that the Arnott’s version was far superior.

Steve, to answer your question, yes, the Pepperidge Farm Tim Tam is the same thing, both the Pepperidge Farm and Arnott’s version of the Tim Tam are manufactured in the same plant in Australia, the only difference being that the Pepperidge Farm version is distributed in the States only, while the Arnott’s version is distributed pretty much everywhere else Tim Tams are sold.
That reviewer fails to realize that the Pepperidge Farm Tim Tam is not a “knock off” of the Arnott’s Tim Tam, therefore I feel I have no choice but to disregard it as a review from someone who failed to do their research thoroughly before reviewing.
