Craigslist Redesigned: a Greasemonkey script for Firefox

craigslist-redesigned

This month’s WIRED features a story on Craigslist and its continuous rejection of all things modern on the web. It’s actually a very interesting and enlightening article on how Craigslist is a mess, but a mess that people can manage. It’s simple and without any additional features that some might find useless and that’s partially why it is such a great success.

Anyway, reading that article made me think of how I would personally love to have a slightly better looking Craigslist experience as I do browse the website extensively from time to time. It turns out that I can if I just install this Greasemonkey userscript called Craigslist Redesignged that takes design cues from the redesign done by thebignoob.

Compare the original Craigslist below with the redesigned one above.

Ha, I’m still catching up with my backlog of Wired articles to read but I was hoping someone had done this. Nice job!
