Last night I went and watched Inglourious Basterds with Yelena and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was entertaining and suspenseful and very gory (as is with most of Quentin Tarantino’s films).

I honestly don’t really like Quentin Tarantino movies but this one struck the right chords with me. It was gory, don’t get me wrong about that, but it was the sort of funny-and-awkward gory that makes you squeamish but belch out in laughter at the same time. Most of it obviously has to do with an amazing script (and spot-on delivery by Brad Pitt and the rest of the cast…but mostly Brad Pitt).

The plot and storyline are amazing in this film. It twists and turns and leads you into situations that seem down-right puzzling until something big happens that puts it all together for you. I like this movie because there was a lot of that going on.

If you get the chance to, definitely head out to see this film on the big screen. It deserves to be seen large!

VERDICT: Two thumbs up and would-pay-to-see-in-theaters-again!!!
