Check out this short essay by Monica Almeida about the joys, difficulties, and lessons learned from shooting out of a car window/windshield while driving on the West Coast. She compares the experience to street photography in an urban environment like New York City because it uses much of the same reflexes and instincts but in a much more widespread plain. If you travel in a car for a good part of your day, you may find Monica’s photos oddly familiar.
Hey, I do that all the time! Her pictures just come out better and are more interesting. Probably taken under less dangerous speeds too. haha
