Constant rain over the last week or so has put parts of Georgia under water. In the pictures (taken September 23, 2009) and video here, you can see parts of Six Flags Over Georgia (West of Atlanta) submerged in murky waters rendering the entire park useless until the waters recede.

According to some estimates, about $250 million in damage has been done to to people’s homes and 8 people have died as a result of this wet weather.

i have a season pass for this year..was gonna try to go again before they closed for the season. lame. by the way, i live about 3 hours from there and had no idea there was flooding till i read it on here. i should probably watch the news more often.
