Screw the white BlackBerry Bold, Engadget is reporting that the update to the Bold, the BlackBerry Bold 2 (9700), will be coming out for AT&T and T-Mobile on October 21st.
I now have 3 choices:
- Break my current contract and get this phone when it comes out on T-Mobile/AT&T
- Wait for the Storm 2 to come to AT&T and upgrade my current phone
- Switch to Verizon and get the Storm 2
I see pros and cons for all three choices and to narrow things down, I am keeping it simple.

release date for public is november 11th. i think choice A or C is good. i would only consider B if tmobile and verizon get terrible service in new york
