It seems that the flu shot she received has triggered a rare neurological disorder known as Dystonia which causes her body to have uncontrollable muscle contractions. [via]
The weird thing about Desiree’s condition is that the symptoms of Dystonia disappear if she runs or walks backwards. In the video above, she demonstrates how she can go from completely normal running to uncontrollable body movements once she slows down to a leisurely pace.
