An Australian company has developed a neat little tool called the BottleMate that easily pops the caps off of bottles while preserving their circular shape. Normally, if you have to open a bottle with a sealed cap, you end up bending it somehow with a bottle opener which really messes up the shape of the cap itself.
In any case, this is a pretty neat product I think and something that might make me start a personal collection of bottle caps just for fun. Thanks Dan for the heads up on this!
this has been around for a while and probably is another knockoff of the original, it’s called sentol bottle opener from japan and sold by bottlepal in the states. doesn’t work so well on some european imports.
I have three of these in my kitchen with the Miller Lite logo on them.
