New blue and gold New York State license plate unveiled

November 11, 2009 @ 3:23 pm

Heads up New York State drivers: The DMV is issuing new blue and gold license plates to vehicles to replace the current standard blue and white plates with the NYC skyline across the top.

The current blue and white plates were only meant to last 5 years but when they get replaced starting in 2010, some will have been on the road for up to 11 years.

I personally think the new gold Empire plates look ugly.

Thanks Jack for filling me in on this!
