“Ball” by Ries Straver is a looping video of a young girl holding a red ball/balloon that seems to grow and shrink under her control. The video is an exercise in precarious tension as the viewer is meant to feel on edge as the ball grows with the rising tension in the music, not knowing if the ball is going to pop or when it is going to pop.
