BNE was here, everywhere

The New York Times ran an article today about the street artist and vandal BNE, whose identity is still unknown despite his stickers and tags popping up all over major metropolitan areas around the world.

The artist runs his life somewhat like a secret undercover agent, making use of pre-paid phones only, scoping out locations during the day, and making sure that he leaves absolutely no trace of his identity behind for others to find. In a sense, he’s real good at what he does.

Check out the article and the slideshow of BNE images over at the NYT.

BNE stands for Brisbane, a city in QLD, Australia.

Not sure if it applies for this guy, but it probably does…

10,000 stickers a month clearly this is one bored person with to much cash on hand.

BNE stickers are here in Chiang Mai, Thailand….EVERYWHERE.
