Aston Martin Cygnet

Aston Martin is preparing for one of the boldest new cars in its lineup with the Aston Martin Cygnet, a car based off of the Toyota iQ and sporting much greener carbon footprint than the rest of the Aston Martin lineage of vehicles. [via]

The car isn’t meant for performance but rather for simple urban commuting. Aston Martin is hoping to sell about 4000 of these each year starting at the end of 2010. But if you’re hoping to get one too, you better already own a current Aston Martin vehicle model because the company is reportedly only going to sell these to current Aston Martin owners. Bummer.
