Don’t use the Twilight Cupcake book. Recipes have mistakes in them!
I tried to make the Mocha Latte cupcakes and the Red Velvet cupcakes. The recipes have mistakes in them, and they came out horribly! The author and publisher should be embarrassed! A few of the steps in the recipes mention mixing ingredients in the wrong order, and the ingredients list contain more ingredients than are mentioned in the steps of the recipe. These two recipes came out like lead bricks and tasted awful. I am an experienced cook and I did not make any mistakes. (On a positive note, the Forbidden Fruit Apple Spice cupcakes were fantastic. Just cut the apples into much smaller cubes than the recipe says.) I ripped out the apple spice cupcake recipe and threw the rest of this book in the trash.
Twilight books ? I don’t know why but I feel that they are for kids.
