Mission Workshop Vandal expandable backpack

The founders of Chrome have gotten together and formed a new bag company called Mission Workshop with a completely new line of bags for the urban traveler and messenger.

The Vandal, shown above, is an expandable backpack that’s got enough storage capacity to store a keg. The bag is said to be “storm-proof” with its urethane coated nylon fabric exterior and fully taped zippers.

The bag comes in 4 colors — green, black, silver, and charcoal — and is available now for $225. With history deep in messenger bag production, I’m pretty sure the Vandal is going to hold up well with its competition.

Typical day in SF. Surfing, Boxdog, then some Redstripe in Dolores.
