Robot arm writes graffiti

The Graffiti Markup Language (GML) is getting some pretty strong backing these days (see here) and this latest project from Golan Levin and Jeremy Ficca in the CMU Digital Fabrication Laboratory (dFAB) uses translated GML info from 000000book.com to make this ABB IRB-4400 robot arm recreate an actual graffiti tag in real-life. The Robot Graffiti Tagger is fairly large at the moment, but imagine the applications for this sort of technology when it gets smaller and more portable.
